SME is working from workstations but I am getting warnings on server screen about
/var/log/popd/current and several other
/var/log items unable to write as out of disk space.
I was able to erase a few gigs of files no longer used by getting in from the workstation and rebooted hoping this would provide space but the problem continues.
Services like mail are not working as well as phproject. Server manager is not working properly either.
Actually I am wondering if its the logs at fault or some program filling the disk as fast as I delete the files.
I tried running a update using the same disk but it did not help.
Any Ideas - sorry for cross posting with the regular forum but no one was providing suggestions there.
Well as there have been no suggestions, I thought I would try working with what I had which was quite a lot I thought.
I had just done a backup2ws so a 35CD backup is sitting on one workstation and I had last night done a separate backup of my main data on a different workstation but unfortunately it doesn't do the sql databases.
So I pulled the harddrive giving me grief for future reference and installed a spare. I tried using beta backup2ws restore of 6.01-1 - guess what it doesn't. Using winrar I can view the files so they are there but the restore function appears to not work. It appears to need a indication its done something so I set it up to do a 911 backup then told it to restore.
This leave me with a long nights work if I must re-enter settings, ibays etc. then copy the data directory by directory back. - I am not sure how I am going to get the sql data back in place - but it should be backed up.
I am managing to post this because I use a router so the rest of the network is still workable.
