Topic: SME 6.0.1 Custom ISO Problem With Squid

Thank to AJkeane for the ISO first time i install that so great ISO,but there some problem ihave with this ISO.I have a ADSL with 512Kbps and i sharing it with 20 client-pc.If all client-pc connected to internet why there is some pc cannot acces internet.i try to ping to my ISP DNS from client-pc but always Request Time Out.But if i try ping my ISP DNS from SME server i have Reply From MY ISP DNS,this my configuration in my office:

Modem ADSl IP:10.0.0.2
          |
  SME IP:192.168.100.1
          |
Client-PC 192.168.100.6-25

Eth0 i set 10.0.0.3
Eth1 i set 192.168.100.1

My ethernet is Realtek 8139

is my configuration is wrong or i need do something with my SME Server 6.0.1 Custom ISO?

Do you have dhcp enabled on the server or are you hard setting the IPs on the clients?  If you turn off one of the working machines, and reboot one that does not work, does it now work?  It isn't a squid issue if some machines work and others don't.  It sounds like some are not getting a dhcp address or are not configured correctly.  Are the dns settings all pointing to the SME server ip?

I think you're right the problem maybe not from Squid,but i compused why my client-pc sometimes can ping to DNS my ISP but sometimes Cannot.is there because problem with my bandwith or from my server?,why client-pc cannot ping to DNS ISP but thew server can in the same time?.
In my server i use CBQ for limiting bandwith to internet is there a software or package *.rpm for SMESERVER for limiting bandwith?
In my server eth0 is Inet(dhcp from ADSL modem) and eth1 local(192.168.100.1).every pc in my network i set to static IP that mean 192.168.100.6 - 192.168.100.25 .gateway addres i set to SME(192.168.100.1)and the DNS IP i set at client-pc to DNS ISP do you think there is something wrong with my setting?.

Your client PCs should be set to the SME server ip for the dns settings.  I have had connection issues using something other then the server ip for the dns.
