PHP 4.1.2 is ancient, luckily it is easy to upgrade to a newer version.
PHP 4.3.7
http://www.ibiblio.org/pub/linux/distributions/e-smith/contrib/DanBrown/RPMS/i386/
There is a forum thread on upgrading PHP:
http://forums.contribs.org/index.php?topic=22754.0
There is a script which shows what to do:
http://ergin.dyndns.org/download/php4.3.7-upgrade.sh
At the moment 4.3.7 is the most recent, there are no RPMs for PHP 4.3.8 or 5.0
