I have e-smith on a site using a phone line and modem for dialup. Someone turned the machine off accidently and when it was rebooted the modem dials up ok but no web acces is possible. The modem keeps repeatedly dialing and hanging up. I have tested it on another box and the modem is fine. It would appear that the ungraceful shutdown of the e-smith has caused the problem. The e-smith is doing NAT but not DHCP. All the config seems fine. Any ideas anyone please ??
