I have a Windows 2000 system setup to receive all email before sending it to my SME server. This allows me not to lose any email if my SME server is down for whatever reason. I was wondering if there is a simple linux solution to do this as well?
My current setup for mail queuing is:
Windows 2000 Server running IIS 5.0
SMTP services enabled.
Added a domain name for each of my domains.
In each domain name properties, I have the following options checked:
Allow incoming mail to be relayed to this domain.
Forward all mail to smart host (I have IP of my SME server entered here in brackets).
I'm sure just about all distributions can do it but is there a small linux package that is tailored to SMTP services to make the process simple?
Any help would be appreciated as well as how to configure linux to do the same thing as I have Windows SMTP service doing.
Thanks,
Nathan
