Topic: 6.01-01 & Backup to Workstation Restore

I am trying to to a test restore onto a new system from backups I do daily. So far Ive had no luck at all. The log is as follows:

Ive tried it using a couple of my backup files and they all do the same.  I have looked at the following posts on it and it didnt seem to help at all: http://www.myezserver.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=538

Does anyone have any ideas as to what I can do to fix this?

Install WinRAR on a Windows box and see if you can open the backup file and look at the contents. Are there any files there ?

Can definately open them with PowerArchiver 2003, I'll download WinRar later on today and test that as well..

Ok got it all sorted.  Dont know what was going on but I couldnt restore to a clean installation.  I ended up ghosting my HDD, sticking in the boot CD and doing an upgrade on the new HDD in the new computer (as the LILO stuff doesnt transfer properly with Ghost 2003) then did a straight restore from the Server Manager..  Worked perfect..

Im going to format the new machine and start that from a fresh install and do a backup from it and then a restore and see if its just some weird glitch with my existing system or its something else.
