Purchasing from Dungog - be aware!

Hi there folks,
I just want to pass along my experience of buying downloads from Dungog.net, so that you're aware of how it works before it happens to you too:
I bought my downloads almost a year ago, paid $99.00 for getting all the RPMs plus updates for a year, as it states on the website. (go http://www.dungog.net/purchase.php)
I tried yesterday to get access to my account just to check on the updates available and found that my account was deactivated. I contacted Dungog.net support to find out what was going on with my account and this is what I got in response from Stephen Noble:
----------------------
"Logins get auto deleted after 6 months
we don't remind people, it feels like spamming
When you purchased from ww.dungog.net/sme/purchase.php
it said the following
 >One off payments
 >This option includes updates for 6 months, and gives instant access to purchases.
and also mentions
 >All rpms renewal $49.00 yearly $ 49.00
Recurring and renewals are valid for 12 months

Sorry for all the rules, please feel free to use what you have, but onging development takes a lot of time,so we are obliged to draw a line somewhere, and that's where it wound up.
we changed only a few weeks ago mostly because a lot of people, like yourself, assumed you had 12 months updates we probably lost a lot of business, because they were annoyed, as you are"
-------------------
I personally think Dungog's work is really good but the way they treat customers who are paying for the service is completely unprofessional/unethical since they never contacted customers to let them know about changes of rules.
Just so you know before you decide buying things from Dungog.

When you purchased we included 6 months of updates
this was stated on the web site

a few weeks ago we changed this to 12 months

we're sorry if you feel we answered you unprofessionally
the reader can judge how unethical the responce was
