SME Server Revisited....VPN LAN Gaming?

I retired SME 5.6 a while back, when I aquired a roomate with a Linksys router. Well we just pooled our money for a much nicer internet connection. 600k down/110k up. Now I learn we can VPN to other networks and players for LAN games. This is supposed to lesson hassle and we have the bandwidth for it. Well I got it all working with this new v6.0.1-01. Better than yesterdays install of BeOS MonoWall, in that I can ping and browse network computers with ease. MonoWall was a not so successfull. Anyway, turns out the problem is now that 'UDP broadcasts' are not making over the VPN??? Is that what the problem is?? I have read for hours and seem to think I've narrowed it down to this... Does anyone know anything about this, and what can be done about it? One other thing... I can make changes in the remote access panel, but it always returns an error message, nothing specific, just a fancy error graphic and message at the top??? the changes take, but it doesn't give me a good feeling... do i have a bad install, should i just reinstall? Thanks in advance...

Wow... all this traffic today... and no responses to my problem yet! Well, I'm now gonna fresh install the 6.0.1custom. Another thing, my whole connection goes down every hour or so. I think it has to do with power management settings in my bios. Gonna turn it all off. I hope this fresh install solves my 'error when making remote settings changes' issue! As for the UDP Broacasts over VPN... would love some input...
