I am testing e-smith on a couple of machines. I have a clean install of e-smith with the exception upgrading Samba as per Dan Brown's HOW-TO. And a fresh install of Win 2000 sp1 on the other. I can access the manager through lynx on the server and I can access (
http://192.168.1.1) remotelyand get the Apache default page, but when I try to access the manager remotely all I get is a 404 error. I played with it a couple weeks ago and it worked smoothly, however I could never join the domian. I was able to join the domain this time, but I have tried switching from domain to workgroup with the same results.
