Hi All,
Can someone tell me which setting I should use when setting up SME6 for use with BT Broadband, they only supply a USB modem so I have purchased a D-Link ethernet ADSL modem. Any help is appreciated.
Regards,
Del

Del,
You may have a little trouble with a ADSL modem as SME has limited support for PPPOA(search forums for PPPOA) which is what BT requires.
I also have BT, but i purchased a router that supports PPPOA so it does all the BT authentication.

Hi Mark
Thanks, this is what I thought, I actually live in Florida now but on atrip back to England I tried to help my brother set up an SME Server, he isn't that technical so I am having to give instructions over the phone! What router are you using? Can you forward/open port 80 so we can use Darrel May's Webshare and other web based contribs? Thanks for your help.
Regards,
