Topic: Updated ProFTPd (1.2.10) for SME (Security fix)

All,

I have just build the new ProFTDd which is the FTP deamon used on the SME server to the just released 1.2.10.

Simply install the RPM:

# rpm -Uvh http://sme.swerts-knudsen.dk/downloads/Updates/6.0.1/proftpd-1.2.10-es1.i386.rpm

And the do a remote-access update

# /sbin/e-smith/signal-event remoteaccess-update

Hi Jesper,

Nice work, would you care to log it into the bugtracker so it get's noticed by both bug-team and update teams?

The bugtracker is THE place to make your contribs/updates/enahncements public for all teams and queue them for new updates/releases. Just make sure you make both RPM and SRPM available as well as all headers.

A small changelog would be nice too.

Once the Test-team is in place these contribs could be forwarded to them for a thourough testing phase
