Topic: Internet not working

I have a 6.01 custom with squidguard and working.  The gateway, web stop working.  I can not get out and the page is not visible.  Any idea in what to look.

Get to a command line and try

service squid status

and if it says squid is not running

service squid start


And be sure to check your messages log to find out why squid died. I have had problems with it dying silently but that was on 5.5.

I will try it as soon as posible.  We had a storm yesterday and Puerto Rico is completly in the dark, water is off and my phones are down.  I have power thru a generator in my house and wireless ISP never failed.

I check in home server and I can do a service --status-all >status and I can compared with another server to see which service is down.
