Topic: Can recieve email, but cannot send it

I can send email, but it appears that the e-smith server is not allowing me to send it.

When I try to send email, Netscape gives me the error:

"The mail server responded Recipiend address rejected: Relay access denied. Please check the message recipients and try again."

It looks like e-smith is blocking access to my ISP's mail server.

How to I configure e-smith to allow out-going mail?

are you using the dhcp  server on e-smith?  It sounds like your ip address of your box is not in the range acceptable to the email server.  Basically it thinks you are a spammer.
