I've succesfully been using e-smith 4.1.2 for a month now and love it. Totally rock solid. I have one problem though I was hoping some of you all could help me figure out. I've been wanting to run an eggbot on it ( I know it's insecure) and I got it running but herein lies the problem. It will connect to the irc server just fine but when you /CTCP it or try to telnet into it on port 4000 (set in config script) it doesn't allow you in. Does anyone in here have any experience with a program like this or how to open the ports that I need to up? Any help would be greatly apprec.
