Okay, I'm hopefully moving in to a new house in the next day or so.
I'm currently running SME Server 6.0 on an Athlon 850 with 256MB ram. I originally had it on a cable modem connection, but when I moved I had to put it on a dialup connection, but its running happily at the moment still collecting e-mail, sharing the internet and working nicely.
Now, when I move, I will be near to where my dad lives (I'd say, about 100 metres away from his house).
At the moment my dad is using a dialup connection, and he keeps getting spam etc which is costing quite a bit in call costs to download.
I was wondering, if I could get a wireless card which works with SME Server (if so, which one would be good?), could I allow access to my network wirelessly if my dad got a wireless card in his PC?
I guess he would need to VPN into the server for extra security, is there a way of doing this so I have 3 network cards (2 normal, 1 wireless) in the server?
Would it be classed as a DMZ?
