I want to add some values in my.cnf for better performance.

How do i do this in E-smith?

Have a look at:

The sample is for samba you do the same with the config file YOU want to change i.e.  /etc/my.cnf

(iow copy /etc/my.cnf and modify /etc/e-smith/templates-custom/etc/my.cnf then expand /sbin/e-smith/expand-template /etc/my.cnf   finally restart)
