Is there a utility available for Samba on SME server to allow checking of what files are opened and by which user (like SWAT which I understand from the FAQ is incompatible with SME).

as a command line tool, "smbstatus" will give you that information.

thanks mdo, I use that, but meant to ask for a GUI tool that I can show less experioenced users who to use.
