I have set up e-smith now to a be a gateway and a small server tu send out e-mail(my isps mail server is very unreliable). But the person who owns the server usually cheks mail and reads news, but the other person downloads very big files and awfully lot. Whwn he downloads he uses up obout 90% of all bandwidh. when hevants to move around just in the country (we live in a small country) it takes about 5 minutes to load a page witch normally takes about 15 sec to load.
Is there a way I can put hes speeds down when the owner wants to use internet and has little time. Or am I dreaming?
Is ther some kind of a rpm or can it be set just by modifying some kind of file?
