Topic: http stopped ... can't get it going (or don't know how)

Can somebody help me?  My SME server stop delivering email a few days ago. I managed to get that working again but now the web server has stopped.  Can somebody help me by giving me instructions on how to check and get it going again?

I'm new to linux, redhat, and SME.  So please be patient

you can check status to see if running by typing...

service httpd status

if its not running then..

service httpd restart

and...

'service httpd-admin start' to make sure server manager can be accessed too.


Btw, I understand from devs that
'/etc/init.d/httpd start' is the preferred way to start services
