Hi everyone...........where do you get the drivers (Darrell May?) for the onboard Intel Gigabit LAN drivers? Or is there a driver e100 or e1000 in SME6 that will work? Any help for this newbie appriciated! Using a MSI P1-102A2M server, p4-3Ghz, 1GB RAM, dual 250GB IDE, Intel 82547 & 82541 Gigabit LAN onboard.

ok, ignore the first bit of my post...i have the drivers now ( i think)..how do I install them?

What drivers did you get? What form are they in (.tar.gz , rpm or source)?

Driver is e1000-5.2.22-sme6.i386.rpm from dmay
sorry...forgot that bit

rpm -Uvh e1000-5.2.22-sme6.i386.rpm

You will probably have to configure your server again from the admin console to select the interface to use with the e1000.

Help! Intel Gbit LAN - Which driver ?

Hi folks,

new board with 875P & ICH5-R chipset. Shuttle reference it having an Intel - Broadcom 5788 Gigabit LAN. ??

Tried the above referenced drivers but none load - all intel drivers error using the selector in Server Mgr.

Any ideas ?
