Chat program based from SME Server - where? how?
« on: December 06, 2004, 12:32:58 AM »
Hey guys.

I'm very interested in getting either "Bribble" or "FlashChat"/"AMF FlashChat" working on my SME Server.  I'd like to have a login-based, PHP/MySQL chat engine that's as efficient and user-friendly as the FlashChat that Contribs' website uses.

So, before I spend $5 and buy the latter, or before I mess around with i-bays and other such items, a question.

Several searches on this forum did not merit really any mention of a chat programs ... and ... how to install it.  I've seen "Bribble", I've seen this particular post where only a link to hte chat program itself (FlashChat) was made, and nowhere online can I find any discernable "chat program for SME Server" or any variant thereof.

I've found 9-page chats on how to setup the Asterisk (another project of mine) PBX and VoIP setup, so I fully know of the intelligence of those that post here.  So, here's hoping ... can anyone contribute?

(Link to the 3rd-party "FlashChat" that Contribs uses is in the lower-right-hand corner of the main window when launched .. found here:  http://no.longer.valid/phpwiki/index.php?On-line%20help)
