Topic: 3ware Escalade Raid monitoring software?

Hi.

I'm using the Escalade with an 8 x SATA raid 5 on SME6.

But I've been unable to find a howto to get the browser based reporting function running.

Can anyone give me a link?

David - I am away from my main office at the moment,but I just set this up on an SME- 6.01.01 box that we use as a document server.

I found the documentation for this on the 3Ware CDROM. It's pretty simple. In the configuration tool, just make sure that you use an alternate port number (it defaults to 8080). Also make sure that you upgrade the firmware on the card!

If you have any trouble with this, let me know, and I'll look it up when I return to my office on Monday.

I used the port 5000 and created a file to load at boot.  a how to is available for a older version of e-smith
