Topic: Upgrading Horde on SME server is giving my a hard time!

Hi,

Yesterday evening I tried to upgrade my SME server with a newer version of Horde, incl. IMP, Ingo, Turba and even Kronolith. But.... it doesn't work!

I've tried to follow the installation guide, but when I try to gain access to the test.php (or other *.php files) through the webbrowser on my workstation I'm just getting i "403 access denied - you're not allowed to access /horde on this server" in return. I don't get a loginsite or anything like that!?

What am I doing wrong??

Have you rebooted the server yet?
I've just done the horde upgrade in the last few days too....I had all sorts of weird things happenning until i issued an upgrade event and rebooted....
(a case of RTFM on my part!)

/sbin/e-smith/signal-event post-upgrade
/sbin/e-smith/signal-event reboot

Nope, not yet. I have a RAM problem om my server. Last time I rebooted it took me about 2 hours to get all my RAM back in action!  

It's an old IBM Intellistation Z Pro......

But thanks for the advise. I'll try it when I get home from work.
