Topic: SME on Centos Boot failure

I decided to have a go at installing the sme-centos-01.tar.gz contributed by R Buck.  The boot process stops part way through with:
Warning: unable to open initial consol. Kernel Panic: No init found.  Try passing init= option to kernel.  I have double checked every procedure, gone through the whole thing again from scratch but can't get past this point. Has anybody got any suggestions?  Regards
