Check out http://no.longer.valid/phpwiki/index.php/SME6.5UpdateScripts for upgrade method for mysql 4.0.23 and php 4.3.10

Very doubtful that there will ever be a Apache 2 upgrade for any SME version based on Redhat 7.3.  Phpmyadmin will probably always be an addon since not everyone will need it.

The versions of these apps that are included in 6.5beta are what will likely be in the final release. This represents what is included in Fedora Legacy.

SME 6.5 is basically RH 9.  At some point in the future, we'll be moving to a RHEL core.
