Yesterday I changed the role of an SME server which has been working happily for months, from Server Only to Private Server and Gateway. Now on restart it hangs on 'Setting Hostname xxx'.
I think I may know what threw it - after I went through the role change I realised the server had only one NIC so basically I've assigned an internal and external IP to the same card.
Can anyone tell me what config files to alter to put it back into a bootable state? I've got Knoppix handy - just need to put it back to Server only.
