I'm using this howto to make virtual domain email aliases:
http://mirror.contribs.org/smeserver/contribs/rmitchell/smeserver/howto/virtual%20domain%20email%20aliases%20HOWTO%20for%20sme%20server.htmI'm not a supercoder but rather a newbie at linux. But is there someone out there that can help me make some kind of rpm that can add the virtual aliases to the SME server panel. I imagine that the user writes the alias in a textarea and chooses wich account the new email address "belongs" to. Then clicking on 'Save' the script writes this new entry to /etc/e-smith/templates-custom/var/qmail/control/virtualdomains/90aliases
I also would like to be able to give the users of the server to make their own email addresses. Like a webhotel: 100MB of serverspace and 5 emails... or something like that!
Is SME the right choice for this type of hosting?
