Topic: can not send email attachments w/IMAP

I am running SME 6 with the e-mail setup using IMAP. One user started having a problem sending attachments in outgoing mail about 3 weeks ago. He then tried switching e-mail clients to Mozilla tbird, but the problem was still there. I tried it in webmail on the SME box and it did the same. This user, by the way has over 10,000 old messages he is keeping in all of his IMAP folders. Could this be why the user is having trouble sending with attachments? Maybe some kind of quota is in place. I kinda got grandfathered into SME server,Im not a pro but can handle any mods I may have to make to the server or users. Any help will greatly be appreciated. Hi

Perhaps quota on the users prevent from copying mail in the "sent" folder ?
Try clean up his mail folders a little (trash, junk, and perhaps  some folders less important than others) or increase quota for this user.

thanks for the reply, I have no quotas in place for my e-mail accounts. And I noticed some users have more mail stored in their accounts to. I may just try to re-create the account to see if this is something fruity. Its friday and I need a pint, cheers!
