Tony .... I'll certainly be interested in knowing how your configuration performs. Up to now I've only implemented it between servers on the same LAN. I think that using a remote server has possibilities for locations where individual servers on the same LAN cannot be sited far enough away from each other (for security advantage). I guess the author - Ben Summers - will also be interested in your configuration.
