MRTG and entries in log every 5 minutes

MRTG and entries in log every 5 minutes

I installed the MRTG tool and really like it.
I note however that every five minutes there is now the followin entry in the log files

Mar 24 07:35:01 merlin last message repeated 8 times

Does any one know how to stop these?
