Fedora Core => SME 6.01. Possible?
« on: March 29, 2005, 04:11:05 AM »
I need to transfer sites and users (about 500 users) from a Fedora Core Box to SME. I've been researching this forums and found a lot of info on transfering from 5.6 and below to 6. How about between different linux boxes?
I have collected a few How-To's, and I'm wondering if anyone has more tips to share:

Though SME is based on Redhat, I really doubt this would be easily do-able.  SME is too customized to allow simple imports of users/userpasswords and content.

Just my opinion.

Good luck.

PS,

If you get this to work, please post a copy of a how-to.  Would probably be a big help to several others.
