after going into admin panel and checking for updates it looks like there was one for AWSTATS. I loaded the RPM, then awstats was disabeled so I had to reenable it.. no problem.. then I go to check it and it says..

Check config file, permissions and AWStats documentation (in 'docs' directory).
wtf? i didnt do anything except run the RPM from the Update System section of the Panel.
