Solo es para dar una primera impresión sobre la instalación en pruebas que he realizado
del sistema SME server 6.5RC1

Llevo instalando y usando sme server unos 2 años y siempre me he sentido satisfecho con
esta distribucion. Tengo ademas de mi servidor empresarial, otros 6 mas montados con este
mismo sistema, de los cuales llevo la administración. Tenemos montada la version 6.0 eso
si, con muchos añadidos.
Ahora estamos probando la versión 6.5RC1 sobre una máquina clónica Intel PIV 2.8Ghz, 1Gb RAM, 2HDD 160Gb IDE.
Hemos instalado el sistema en raid por software sin problemas, ademas hemos instalado los updates de "SME 6.5 Contribs"http://no.longer.valid/phpwiki/index.php/SME6.5Contribs
 sin problemas. Posteriormente tambien hemos instalados el SMERPFax-0.8b1-1 y va muy bien, tambien hemos instalado awstat-sme-server-6.3-1 de dungog y tambien nos funciona ok. Y openvpn siguiendo el how-to de knudsen. TODO OK por ahora.
Tenemos muchas pruebas que realizar, por ejemplo estamos empeñados en instalar el zoneminder, mambo, jabber, sarg, etc...
Según instalemos diferentes paquetes, lo iré comentando por si a alguien le interesa.

Siento lo del idioma, ojalá hubiera un buen foro (como este) pero en español , dedicado a smeserver. Leo asiduamente este, pero escribir en ingles es otra  historia  .

Come I am going to try it although single it is by the great interest that I have in this system.
