Ethernet bonding woes
« on: April 08, 2005, 02:24:43 AM »
I have created some template fragments, and also modified conf-ethernet and added some values to the config db to allow use of some non-standard ethernet interfaces ie, bonded devices/drivers or non-eth style devices for bridges and whatnot.

The only issue i have run into is that "ifconfig" hangs.
the devices come up correctly, all of the config files look correct, and the ethernet failover works correctly.

This is under 6.5RC1

Any ideas/suggestions? has anybody tried this before?

If you could provide details of what you have done, someone else can try to duplicate what you have done, and perhaps take it further.

Thanks
