A REALLY stupid Questions about I-Bay Access
« on: April 14, 2005, 04:53:57 AM »
Hi Folks,
I have done a quick search to try and find out the answer to this presumably simple question.
I need to give users access to certain i-bays both from the local network and from the internet. However, when I apply permission that require a password, no password/username combo seems to work...incvluding root!

What am I doing wrong? Do I need a username to access? I noticed that when I set up the ibay I need to set a password ...but I have tried logging on with just the password, but this doesn't work either.
Help

P.S. Told you it was a silly question.

I had same problem too. What I found is that you need to use the I-Bays name as the username and the password that you set for it. Hope this helps.
