Topic: Dansguardian not working

OK - here's my problem:

I have a SME 6.01 built from the custom iso from Keanes. I ran the smeplus update script with no problems.

I then installed Dansguardian from Dungog.

Dansguardian is running - at least I have several PID's when I ps aux.

Squid works just fine.

Whenever I try to route browsers through port 8080 to use the Dans it just hangs.

If I switch the clients to use 3128 it works just fine.

I've tried removing and re-installing - but there seems to be some disconnect between Dans and Squid.

Can someone point me in the right direction ??

Of course, what I could have said was, head to Sydney, then turn north west and drive for a few hours.
