I am preparing to install oscommerce (http://www.oscommerce.info/docs/english/c_installation_and_upgrades.html) on sme6.01

The doc instructs to install to the

Web Server Document Path

The web server document path is the directory where the web server has been configured to look for the HTML/PHP files to serve to the public. Example web server document paths are:


/home/hpdl/public_html/
/srv/www/htdocs/
/usr/local/htdocs/

Which is the path to use on sme?

I have looked through the documentation but have not found the answer to my questions.
I whish to install the french version.
I have installed it for testing and it seems to work EXCEPT for the fact that I keep on getting an error that claims that the cache has not been set up correctly:
I have tried creating the /temp dir in the root of the testing domain as well as in the /catalog dr; permissions granted but still nogo.
Is the version on cortibs sme specific or do I have to adept files in the the 'standard' version?
All help more than welcome!
