Hello the community,

A bug was found in masq manager.
In port opening panel, when opening a udp port, the script would open a tcp port (the contrb never open a udp port).

Mastersleepy corrected the bug, and now, the contrib will fully open udp and tcp port.

A great thanks to Mastersleepy.

I assume it's necessary to:
service masq restart
After installing the improved rpm? Does anything else need to be done?

Nevermind I see the readme also calls for:
/sbin/e-smith/signal-event post-upgrade

RTFM :)

I just installed the rpm and did a postupgrade command. Server manager demanded a reboot and it will not come back up?
Any ideas as to what went wrong? SME6.0.1

Thanks in advance

Sorry, false alarm.

I was doing the install remotely, and I don't know why the server never rebooted smothly but I just had to take the drive to the other end of town and see for myself. Turns out that there must have been a hicup since all I had to do was power down and restart. Everything is fine again, I just panicked.

Yes and no.

masq-manager do port opening, and many other stuff.

But don't use port openinq AND masq manager together! They don't manage port opening in the same way and in the same templates.
