floppy boot??

floppy boot??

im about to change hardware on my sme but the "new" computer cant boot from cdrom.
so my problem is:
where do i find a floppy boot disk so i can start the installation off sme?

the "new" computer is a IBM PC 300PL with a intel8255x chips(according to winxp) on the motherboard and a extra realtech rt8139

You might try this project:

I used it to install Slackware from CD on a laptop that couldn't boot from CD natively.

Website is kinda broken but software, though old, works very well.

You can run the install from CD (on a CD bootable test box) and create the boot disk when asked and then cancel the install.
You can create a Reinstallation disk from the server manager, it will have the basic configuratiom details to set up a new box and then allow you to restore fully from a desktop or tape backup.
You can use the Windows/DOS rawrite or Linux dd utility on the sme CD to create a boot CD see
