I am seeking advice on peoples experiences with AntiVirus and mail software. I suppose I am more correct in saying the user panels that I use to configure the software with from server-manager.
AntiVirus - I have seen Jespers latests for ClamAV
and also Stephen Nobles :-)from dungog.net's. Jespers uses 0.84 whilst Stephens only uses 0.83 (I think). Stephens also allows for the integration of another virus scanning engine into the equationjavascript:emoticon

Are there any advantages disadvantes in using either one?
I am also needing to use a multi-pop mail retrieval system - again I can install Jespers fetchmail contrib or use the ones by Stephen Noble. In reading the documentation Stephen indicates that there is the ability to have a user poll the server when required and not fall in line with the timed mail downloads. He indicates that this is a feature in his user-panels.
So - is one mail retrieval system better then the other?
Also will the user-panel described by stephen work with Jespers multi-pop retrieval system?
I ask these questions as I am currently having problems with both in getting them to retrieve mail? I previously had Jespers working fine.
Final thing (for this message) - again I have two versions of SpamAssassin at each site. I can see that Jesper has just upgraded to the latest version.
With the three progams having to work together which is the best combination??
I am installing onto 6.01.
I also thank Jesper and Stephen for their efforts and don't take anything away from either of the installations.
