to the community,
ever wanted joe as text editor ?

Joe editor -- The Joe editor has a set of command close to the WordStar, so it can be convenient to DOS old-timers who know this ancient command set.

I prefer to use this one as it saves changes of a file as well the original before the changement was done with the the tilde (~) extension !

Packaged for SME Server.

acts even like pico and others ( 'jpico' jstar' jmacs' )

download via    Schwarzecker's Home

have a nice day
Gerald

Why is the package noarch when joe is written in C, a compiled language? Shouldn't it be i386?

High Robert,
you are right, sorry for the mistake and I meanwhile upgraded the package to version 3.2 and packaged to joe-3.2-1.i386.rpm which is the latest source version available.
regards Gerald

Yes, and I use joe-2.9.7-4.i386.rpm since then.
