Is Contribs still taking donnations?  I am in the habit of making a contribution each year for servers under my care, what is the deal now?  Do we pay to Resource Strategy or Ruffdogs? I have tried to clarify this for a while writing to the link found at: http://no.longer.valid/phpwiki/index.php?pagename=Donations
but have not yet received a response...

Christian,

That's a great question.  I would also donate.  Financial support helps both financially  8-)  and it helps the moral of those who stepped up and provide us with a community.

I hope someone takes care of this.  Others will give too.

I agree! As a beginner with Linux and SME, I appreciate this kind of support from other users. I am absolutely willing to make a donation to those who make this possible by facilitating this with a forum!

Sorry to have missed this guys. Right now we ask that you place any money intended for contribs.org in an interest bearing account. We are tryng to put alot of this together as we speek.
I will put up the new links early this week.

FYI, I am going to put up a page for hardware donations also, as I know many of you might be able to do something on that end also, and with the new and expanded system we are building, we will be needing hardware.

Thanks
Garret

Garret,

No problem. I am placing 16 Kg. of gold bullion  into my bank vault for safe keeping.

Be sure to do an article on the home page to let us know when to make the transfer. 8-)

Whatever you do, consider an alternative to Paypal
as it does not support my country. I can pay with 2checkout though.

BTW, why not create a list of donors list (just like clamav).

I would like to make a reasonable contribution towards the cost of maintaining this site.  Would someone provide  me with a contact (perhaps Garrett) to this end with the view of finalising this transaction before June 30 2005 (end of financial year deadline...)

Okay folks, we are up and running with the donations again. Everything on the donation page points to a Pay Pal account for a company known as SME Server. SME Server was registered in Colorado as a non-profit company, and we will soon being going after federal non-profit status.

More on this later.

Thanks
Garret
