Topic: SME 7 Alpha 3 acting as DC with roaming profiles ?

Hi i was running sme 6.5 beta and it was all working great acting as my DC with roaming profile for all my windows users, but i was bored and decided to have a look at SME 7 alpha 3, but now i am unable to add my windows machines back on the domain, i get the error

"username was not found on the domain"

and i'm using the admin account as that all i used before on 6.5 beta

can anyone help

Try alpha 17 first, a lot has changed... - if it still doesn't work then report a bug to the bugtracker at smeserver.sourceforge.net

so will i be able to just use the upgrade function on the alpha 17 cd ?
does alpha 17 contain all the updates from alpha 3 to 17 ??

Just a reminder that 7.0alpha17 is "alpha" software. It's for testing only, and should not be run in a production environment.

That same questions was asked not too long ago in a different thread and the answer was more or less "when it's ready."

Honestly, I think it would be hard to guess at anything beyond that. Be patient.
