Hiya,

I'm wondering if anyone has gotten any wireless cards to work on e-smith. I want to use a wavelan card in addition to my ethernet card... If anyone has any experiences they would like to share please let me know!

Thanks,

-Cory

Just get an ethernet converter, it will let you plug a network card right into a client radio. It spoofs the mac address & works very well. I use them all the time.

What is this "ethernet converter" - brand/model?
Thanks

The ethernet converter that Rick mentioned is made by Lucent.  If you go to:
http://www.orinocowireless.com/ you will find them listed under products.  This much I know.  If you have problems finding someone to resell you one, drop me a line.

STOP >>> DON'T BUY THESE DAMN THINGS !!!!!!!

I used to think they were great until yesterday.
I just found out they cause network lockups, screw up throughput, & wavelan knows about the problem, but was unwilling to help!!

Get the 3Com Ethernet bridge, suppose to work alot better.

Sorry for suggesting,
Was a screw up on my part.
