Hello to all.  Excuse badly by my ingles, I am of Argentinean.  I know that it is possible that the subject already has treated, but is urgent to find a solution me.  Somebody can explain me the steps to connect my SME 6,0,1 to a network VPN that runs under protocol PPTP.  From already thank you very much.

Are you saying you want to connect TO a network by using a PPtP VPN client to make a connection TO a SME server, or are you trying to connect from BEHIND a SME server to another VPN host?

What I am trying to do is to connect my SME with the provedor of Internet, and for it I must use the protocol pptp. My SME obtains direction IP, but soon I must do login using PPTP.  With Windows I can do using it the adapter of access to virtual networkings, but hatred to Bill G

That's a new one in my experience ... are you sure your ISP requires PPTP?  Not PPPoE?  Because SME will do PPPoE out of the box.  If your ISP truly requires PPTP I have no answer for you.

Unfortunately yes, I am safe is pptp and not pppoe.  Thanks in any case.  There is some form to connect to the SME, with another one gateway that if it runs that protocol, and it requires a small PC

You might see if you can adapt their technique for your use.  You might also look at IPCop ... I *think* it has a built-in PPTP client.
