streaming real audio / video seems to be a bit of a prob...

methinks it uses udp 7070 is this port not available

Well I must be pretty lame myself. I don't know anything about
the real audio/video protocols. They're proprietary, aren't they?

Your best source of information about using unusual protocols
from behind the e-smith server is the IP Masquerade HOWTO. If you get it sorted out, please let us know.

Hello Brent,

Real audio/video should work - it is supported by the ip_masq_raudio module, which is standard with e-smith.  Real audio/video can use a variety of transport protocols, and the RealPlayer software automatically selects the best protocol. I don't know exactly what the selection criteria are, but we've found that the RealPlayer software seems to work fine behind an e-smith gateway.

What platform are you running the RealPlayer software on? What exactly goes wrong when you try to use it?
