Hello,
I set up SME Server V5 and did the basic configuration.
There is one "standard" user (torsten) on the system.
Web-Mail-Access using SSL (only) is enabled.
My first problem ist with IMP.
I am able to log into IMP using "torsten" and the password.
I see the list of emails in the inbox. If I click on anything (an email or preferences, etc) IMP logs me out and shows me the login-page.
The other problem is - i think - a "smtp after pop" feature of the SME Server. I didn't find any Information about that in the users guide.
I modified the script /etc/ppp/ip-up.local (using templates of course) which worked. In that script i wrote a line which is supposed to send the current ip-adress to a given non-local-email-adress (my email at work).
After I didn't get any mail on that work-adress I took a look at the mail-log (/var/log/qmail/current) in which I saw the problem.
There was an error that said something like "You have to check your pop-account before you can use smtp".
My question is: How can I turn this feature off (smtp-access is allowed only from the local network so I don't need such a "feature") - at least for that special user?
Thank you for your help.
Greetings
Torsten
