According to BUGS, it requires PHP 4.2.1 or later and SME6 does not have that. I don't know if this might be your problem. Have you upgraded your PHP?

It also states that it requires mysql 3.23 (included in SME6) but recommends mysql4

i upgraded my php and its running ok now, but i am having trouble with the inventory module. will look further thanks.
