Topic: Modem Config?

Can anyone help configuring a modem? I ran kudzu on the sme and it found it but I cant get minicom to work and I dont see anything else to use.

What exactly are you trying to use your modem for? Before you waste your time, some apps only will work with modems on COM1/COM2 ports

I was going to use it to call my cell phone for security issues or in case the internet was down I could call into the server.

I just found I had a winmodem and that took me on a 3 hour trip in troubleshiiting only to find out I dont have a proper compiling enviroment on the SME!!
