I am trying to get mambo up and working, but it asks me for my MySQL user name and password.  Anybody know what they are by default?

You need to create a mambo user, and give that user permissions to the relevant mambo mysql databases.
Then you can enter that user's credentials into mambo.

Try logging in to MySQL with your admin user and password.  You should then be able to create a mambo user, password and access privledges.

For ease of use, if you have phpmyadmin installed it is a snap.  If not, you can log in via the Navicat program (Google for Navicat)which will allow you to do all sorts of administrative MySQL stuff too.

Best of Luck...
